In today’s society creating a healthy relationship with God is not an easy task. But it apparently is much easier to have an unhealthy relationship with god because of how difficult it is. People believe that this is a hard task due to how strict and harsh some things are talked about in the Bible. But is that really the case? Let’s start with sinning. Sinning is a very common thing, everyone sins, but you must ask for forgiveness afterwards. The reason that you must ask for forgiveness is because you are going against God and his beliefs, but if you acknowledge that you have done something wrong then you will be forgiven. This confuses some people, why does God always forgive sinners? One main reason is because God understands that sinning is going to happen, in Genesis 4 it says “Sin lieth at the door”, which means sin is waiting for you. An example of God forgiving a sinner is when Cain kills his brother Abel and then proceeds to lie to God when asked where Abel is. But after this situation God decided to protect Cain from potential punishment that would come his way.
As stated earlier, Creating a relationship with God is claimed to not be easy. But that truly is a false statement that has been said countless times in many different environments. God is everywhere, creating a relationship with God is way easier than it is sought to be. For example, in the “Transmission of The Text of The Holy Bible”, it says “It is virtually impossible to find a library of Greek Manuscripts that does not contain a manuscript of the Bible”(page 12). This shows how popular the Bible is, you can also find Bibles in hotels, schools, etc. A lot of people do not realize that we are always surrounded by God. You just have to be conscious enough to realize that. Creating a relationship with God is not hard. God gives everyone many opportunities to connect with him. He even gives you opportunities to ask for his forgiveness after you choose to go against his beliefs. God wants to have a good relationship with everyone, he wants to be involved in Everyone’s day to day life, he will always try his best to get you to be involved. Having a healthy relationship with God is much easier than having an unhealthy relationship, at the end of the day it’s your choice.
